    Recently, Test Weights provided wheel weigh pad hire to a Council for random audits of axle load limits on vehicles transferring waste to land-fill. With no local weighbridge available, as a trial, the Council hired three sets of wheel weigh pads (six units in total) and had Accurate Weighing scales instruct the operators on their correct use. During the trial, it was found that the Council's trucks were regularly exceeding legal axle loadings. This prompted the Council to purchase multiple sets of wheel weigh pads for use at their waste transfer station.
